Request for supply of application forms by post should be accompanied with a self-addressed envelope, size : 30cmx22cm (stamped Rs. 75/-) in addition to demand draft of Rs. 200/- in favour of DIRECTOR, DIPSAR. Form can also be downloaded by logging at www.dipsar.in. Completed applications form alongwith attested photocopies of certificates, testimonials, photographs and demand draft should reach DIPSAR latest by 8th July 2010. Separate application forms should be submitted for each course. Incomplete application will not be considered and shall be rejected.

Applications are invited for recruitment on regular basis to 37 posts of Drug Inspectors which are lying vacant in the institutions of Health Department
Punjab. Number of posts may increase or decrease.

The detail of posts in various categories and their pay scale is as per Annexure-A and B. No Person shall be appointed to the services by direct recruitment, unless he passes the following educational qualifications and experience:-

Educational and other Qualifications for Drug Inspector:
Should possess a degree in Pharmacy or Pharmaceutical Sciences or Medicine with
specialization in Clinical Pharmacology or Microbiology from a recognized University or institution:
Provided that only those inspectors:-
i) Who have not less than 18 months experience in the manufacture of at least one of the substances specified in Schedule “C” of the Drugs and cosmetic Rules 1945; or
ii) Who have not less than 18 months experience in the testing of at least one of the
substances in Schedule “c” of the Drugs and cosmetic Rules 1945; in a laboratory
approved for this purpose by the licensing authority; or
iii) Who have gained experience of not less than 3 years in the inspection of farms
manufacturing any of the substances in Schedule “c” of the Drugs and Cosmetic
Rules 1945 during the tenure of their services as Drugs inspectors;

AGE LIMIT:-
18 to 35 years on 1-1-2010.

dated 24-5-2010. The applications received later than the prescribed date shall be
summarily rejected. Wrongly filled or incomplete applications shall also be summarily
rejected and the candidature cancelled.

Admission Modality:

For admission to Higher Degree programmes leading to M.E./M.Pharm. candidates have to appear in the Online tests conducted by BITS at designated centers in different cities (See the advertisement and the detailed brochure available at the website while applying online). Shortlisted candidates will be required to come for an interview at Pilani/Goa/Hyderabad at their own cost and the admission is made on the basis of the performance in the online test and interviews.

Admission is open to all women irrespective of their race, religion, caste or color or domicile.

A student admitted to the Banasthali University has to compulsorily join a hostel of the University unless the student is a ward of some worker of the University and stays with the worker in the campus, or the student belongs to a neighboring village community within a radius of 25 kms.

ADMISSIONS : For the above programmes, admission will be made on the basis of performance in the Entrance Examination conducted by JNT University Hyderabad, Kukatpally, Hyderabad. Qualifying mark at the entrance examination will be 25% (no minimum for SC & ST candidates).

EMPLOYMENT: For the above programmes candidates must be employed on regular service basis in and around Hyderabad and have an experience of atleast one (1) year by 30th June, 2010 after acquiring the prescribed qualification are only eligible to apply.

The filled in application along with all necessary documents and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) drawn (not earlier than 27.03.2010) in favour of “ THE REGISTRAR, JNT UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD”, payable at Hyderabad, on any nationalised bank should reach the “Director, Admissions, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad-500085” on or before 19.04.2010 by 4.00 pm.

Separate application is to be submitted for each of the 14 disciplines. The University will not be responsible for Postal delay / Loss in transit.
